To further strengthen corporate accountability for safety production and advance the three-year comprehensive safety improvement initiative, the Emergency Management Bureau of Zhongshan, together with the Gangkou Town Emergency Management Bureau, conducted an on-site safety production guidance visit to Guangdong Zhongwu Steel Processing and Distribution Co., Ltd. on March 10, 2025.

Upon arrival, the guidance team inspected the production workshops, reviewing the safety management of production units, overhead cranes, machine rooms, air compressors, and cargo stacking areas. They evaluated operational procedures, hazard identification, and mitigation measures, while inquiring about staff safety training and emergency response preparedness. Detailed records were made of any issues identified on-site.

Following the inspection, the team held discussions with the company’s management to understand the implementation of the three-year comprehensive safety improvement initiative, including the awareness of executives and safety personnel, deployment of related measures, and rectification of major accident hazards. Special attention was given to the company’s safety management in resuming production, particularly the implementation of the “Six Key Measures.”

The guidance team emphasized that safety production is an ongoing priority. Enterprises must maintain constant vigilance, firmly uphold the concept of safe development, and prioritize life and people above all. With a sense of responsibility that leaves no room for complacency, companies should implement safety measures thoroughly, focus on key areas and critical links, conduct in-depth hazard inspections, and resolutely prevent and curb all types of production safety incidents.
