On the afternoon of June 24, 2026, a joint research team from five provincial departments — Industry and Information Technology, Ecological Environment, Transportation, Commerce, and Market Regulation — led by the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, visited the Recycling Company to conduct specialized guidance and research on used power battery recycling. Relevant officials from the Municipal Commerce Bureau and Xiaolan Town Government accompanied the on-site research. Officials from the municipal Ecological Environment, Transportation, Commerce, and Market Regulation bureaus participated in the discussion. Qi Jianwei, General Manager of the Recycling Division, and Assistant General Managers Huang Jiajie and Guo Difeng accompanied throughout.

The research team first visited the scrapped new energy vehicle dismantling workshop and the designated storage area for used power batteries, conducting on-site inspections of insulation facility arrangements, explosion-proof storage facilities, and waste liquid collection and treatment equipment. General Manager Qi Jianwei provided the research team with a comprehensive introduction to the company’s implementation measures for new energy vehicle scrapping and dismantling, full-process traceability and control of retired power batteries, safety production, and pollution prevention.

After the on-site research, a discussion meeting was held at our company. Relevant departments at the municipal and town levels reported to the research team on the progress, daily regulatory measures, existing challenges, and next-phase management plans for the city’s used power battery recycling campaign, while also exchanging ideas on cross-departmental collaborative regulatory approaches.

The research team conveyed the spirit of relevant national and provincial documents on the joint enforcement campaign for used power battery recycling and utilization, and set forth clear requirements for continuing to deepen the five-department joint remediation efforts.

General Manager Qi Jianwei stated that the Recycling Company will fully implement all work requirements raised during this research, continuously standardize the full-process management of used power battery recycling and disposal, actively cooperate with municipal and town-level departments in joint regulation, and support the green, orderly, and high-quality development of the city’s used power battery recycling industry.
